Developer Handover
The way Designers and Developers communicate is very inefficient, and it needed to change. While working on project, I would be juggling between between checking up on developers and designing another project. This was very time consuming and felt that the a better process could be in place to make the communication between and Designer and Developer better.

The Main Value of the Change
The value this change in process brings is that it allows to all of the team to get the job done right, the first time. By giving developers 100% of the work, and seeing exactly how it was made is a massive improvement over giving the developer a standard handover document and waiting for the product to be build.
The way the figma file is structured to give the developer all the tools that the design has been using, and allows them to full understand the task before starting there work. This also means that the developer can give the team a better estimate on when the work will be completed. Down below explains how the figma file is constructed.
